A Fitness Assessment consists of multiple standardized tests to measure various fitness components in healthy individuals. Based on the results, the Appraiser will provide information regarding overall health benefits and/or risks.
The results will be discussed with recommendations provided on how to improve your results. Body Composition may be measured independent of the fitness component and various portions may be modified if required based on your current physical status.
The Assessment Components include:
Body Composition: Height, weight, BMI, waist girth and skin-folds
Cardiovascular Endurance: Canadian Aerobic Fitness Test
Strength and Endurance: Grip strength, push-ups & partial curl-ups
NOTE: Males perform pushups from their toes.
Flexibility: Sit and reach test
Leg Power: Vertical Jump
Back Fitness: Back extension
